This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Sophomore level students are moving towards their next unit of "Character Development" and will be reading the play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare. By having a version of the play that has both the Shakespearean and modern language, students will be able to better comprehend the scenes, characters, and daily interactive activities that are linked to our reading. Allowing my Sophomore students to have physical books, helps them to take a break from the use of technology and be interactive with the play and class as a whole. Furthermore, this will promote their engagement with the rest of their peers as we progress through the play.

As a class, we will utilize these books to complete daily readings, act out scenes in front of the class, and work towards answering the question “What is the difference between the face I see and the face I present to others?”
