This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Currently, in my narrow and small classroom where I meet with small groups, the only seating option for my students are wobble stools. While these wobble stools are effective for some students, others prefer the comfort and stability of a traditional chair.

Please help me provide other seating options for my first graders so everyone can focus when working in strategic small groups.

Our small group instruction time is one of the most important parts of our day as that's when I get to provide instruction that is focused on the needs of that specific group. Therefore, it's necessary that everyone is comfortable and can focus! At times our wobble stools become too much of a distraction. These chairs would really benefit all the students I see.
