Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students come to school without the basic necessities they need. Girls are in need of pads or tampons. Kids come to school with unbrushed hair, unbrushed teeth, no deodorant. They need someone to care about them and sometimes the only person that will is the teacher. Many of the students at my school lack basic care and they need help. I want to help them. I want to give them basic things they need to be healthy, to be a normal kid.

Students have other things to worry about, and they shouldn't have to worry about basic hygiene.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
