My Students

Imagine going to work every day and loving every minute of it. My students are the highlight of my day. Their eagerness to learn, enthusiasm for life, and can-do attitudes inspire me daily.

While Covid-19 has caused a few bumps in the road, my students are ready to get back in the classroom and keep building lifelong skills!

Every day, students are trying new things and building on their strengths.

Our classroom is filled with students who have many different personalities, experiences, and viewpoints. However, even if we are all different, we are a community of learners who celebrates each other. The students in my class are my colleagues and just as I teach them they teach me. We take pride in learning and growing together.

My Project

Hands-on learning is a common theme in our classroom. We are always seeking ways to create meaningful and fun opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning.

The materials in this project will offer students the chance to take learning into their hands and see the world from a new and exciting perspective.

It is important to introduce young learners to science at an early age to help them build their base of knowledge, vocabulary, and question asking and answering ability. Further, these materials will be used to teach students about the five senses, the Earth, and get them talking and writing about their discoveries!
