My Project

My third graders amaze me every single day! They ask big questions, celebrate each other's successes, and bring so much curiosity and energy into our classroom.

Every child deserves to feel safe, cared for, and ready to learn.

This starts with the small things that keep them healthy. Clorox wipes and Lysol keep our shared desks, supplies, and high touch surfaces clean, so fewer germs mean fewer sick days and more time learning together. Tissues let students handle a sniffle without missing a beat, and bandages mean a small scrape from recess doesn't slow down their day or their confidence. A child who feels physically cared for is a child who is free to focus on learning.

Lens wipes keep their glasses clear so every student can see the board and their books. Something as simple as a clear pair of glasses can be the difference between a student who struggles silently and one who raises their hand with pride. And a simple snack gives them the energy to stay engaged through every lesson, especially on long afternoons when their focus starts to fade. No child should have to choose between an empty stomach and a full mind.

Together, these small resources help my students feel safe, comfortable, and ready to give their very best every single day. When we take care of their basic needs, we give them the freedom to dream big, ask questions, and become the incredible people they are already on their way to becoming.
