Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Earth Day is coming up, and I want my students to plant succulents for the special day. We have been learning about parts of a plant and what they need to grow.

Planting the succulents will help my students have a better understanding of plants.

They will need to take care of them by giving them water, sunlight, and a lot of love. This activity will also teach them how to be responsible. They will make crafts and will also keep a science journal and make observations weekly on the plants. I can't wait to start this project with the students!
