My students come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, from high financial need to those who are not in need. My school doesn't qualify for Title I services even though a percentage of my students qualify for some financial assistance. I teach in a suburban school in Texas. My students are very excited learners who are willing to jump in and learn new things.
I teach in a relatively new school with a beautiful environment for learning, but my students are interested in what is out there and what they will be using when they leave the classroom.
Therefore, I want to encourage STEM careers and learning excitement through cooperative work environments.
I also want to help educate my students in their personal financial literacy building on a classroom economy. I am educating our future leaders, workers, and professionals and want to give them every advantage. Help me to make them successful mathematicians, scientists, and financially literate. Help me make them ready for their future!
My Project
These supplies will help us keep the room clean and healthy. A clean room will help reduce germs and students will be at school ready to learn. Last year and this year has really required us to clean our environment and classroom more. I am hoping to make it a fun thing and get students involved along with helping to keep our class healthy, we have planted and want to plant more plants we hope to watch grow improving our classroom air.
These supplies will not only help keep us healthy the incentives will help keep us happy.
With these supplies, the students will be able to stay healthy and clean while they are learning ideas as it relate to short-term or long-term memory while the fear of getting sick and missing days. We will also be able to be excited to stay in class and work hard.
