Happiness Is Headphones For Everyone!

My students need 30 headphones so they can focus on their computer activities without hearing everyone else's computers.

My Students

Help my kids focus! We do a lot of work on websites with audio. However, it can get really loud and noisy. They need help focusing. Being able to use headphones will allow them to avoid distractions from the other computers and students.

My students are both sixth and seventh graders.

We have a 20% special education population and about 30% are military dependents. We currently have at least 65% on free and reduced lunch. They are great kids who really want to learn but many don't have a lot of resources at home. They love science, love getting their hands on things, and love using technology.

My Project

Having these headphones will allow my students to focus more on activities we do on our computers that have audio. Without the headphones it gets very noisy and becomes very difficult for my kids to focus on what they are doing. They become distracted and often frustrated. This will help them a lot with science simulation websites which we do a lot.

Headphones are in short supply in my school and having a class set will enable my students to focus and learn more from their computer activities.

I have great, incredible, kids, and many of them don't have a lot of technology resources at home. I'd love to give them more resources here at school.
