My Students

My amazing students are one of the reasons I have a purpose in life. They show up every day, no matter what is going on in their lives. Their lives are tough from parents going in and out of jail to being homeless, but they still come to school with a smile on their face. Some days are challenging, however, they continue to try their best. They overcome the obstacles in and outside of school, and continue to work hard.

All of my students come from low income/high poverty households and qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Most of my students get assistance from our community schools program to get clothing and basic necessities. My students are loving, creative, and incredible.

My Project

The materials I am requesting for my classroom are cleaning supplies and headphones. Cleaning supplies, such as Clorox wipes and Lysol spray, are important in the classroom to prevent the spread of germs. It is almost flu season, and I would like to minimize the chances of my students get sick as much as possible. I will help keep my students healthy by maintaining a clean learning environment with these materials.

The benefits for headphones in the classroom are endless.

I believe headphones are an essential tool for students to learn better. They can help students focus, hear better, and create a quieter environment. Headphones can also help encourage and enhance learning for each student. They can be used for tests, independent work, and personal choice. Overall, they will help students' academic performance and concentration.
