After teaching for 25 years my supplies are running low, and need replaced and refreshed. Students especially in 1st grade struggle with handwriting. This project will help put materials that aid in the instruction of handwriting. It will provide tripod pencils that are ergonomically correct an help students hold the pencil correct. It will also provide grips that help develop the small muscles of the hand needed to write with precision. It also provides special lined paper for extra practice on writing skills and these skills will easily be incorporated into other cross-curricular topics. This project will provide for the students this class this year and students for many years to come.
