Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As we know schools have limited amounts of technology for students to use in their classroom and at times such available technology becomes or is out dated. Therefore, make a change and provide an opportunity for students to be exposed to current technology.

My 23 enthusiastic, energetic students belong to a school in California.

The school is located in a low income neighborhood in which many of the students do not have computer access at home; therefore, having additional electronic devices would increase the chances of having the opportunity to use an updated device during their independent workshop time.

My Project

As we know students in this generation rely on electronic devices to learn or explore. Having such electronic devices will enhance their reading, math, typing skills and clear their questions in other content areas too. In addition a device like this will help me as a teacher to provide more visuals of the work of study at the moment in all curricular areas.

Please make a change in my classroom to provide an opportunity of experience using electronic devices to enhance their learning which will stay with them forever and will continue to help future students in my classroom.

Thank you for your attention and opportunity to express my students needs.
