Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I believe that all students are curious, imaginative, and full of questions about the world around them. They love to explore, build, observe, and create!

This project will provide a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) materials that will help my students explore, problem-solve, and think creatively across subjects.

The building kits in this project will strengthen my students' engineering and design thinking, the planting kits and magnifying glasses will help my students learn about life cycles, responsibility, and science that is connected to their CKLA and Foss curriculum, while encouraging observation and scientific inquiry. The arts and craft supplies will help support my students' artistic expression and creativity across content. The addition of math manipulatives and headphones will also ensure students have the tools they need to succeed in both hands-on and tech-based learning experiences.

These resources will allow all my students to engage in age-appropriate, fun, and educational activities that bring STEAM concepts to life. They’ll work independently, with partners, and in small groups to experiment, create, and explore like real scientists, engineers, and artists.
