This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day our Kindergarten students are developing number sense and word building. Research has shown that students develop concrete understanding through repetitive practice but also with a multi-sensory approach. These tools provide students with ample opportunity and exposure to these very critical early learning concepts.

The goal of this project will be to provide our Kindergarten students with a larger variety of hands-on and engaging tools for developing early literacy and math skills including number recognition, number sense, basic math fluency practice, letter recognition, and word building opportunities.

These magnetic letters and numbers provide all learners with interesting and unique practice without repeating the skills in the same format.
