My students need a resource to explore science in our preschool classroom.
This project expired on August 6, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our students are a wonderful group of students who come from very low economic homes. We truly see their struggles when we go on home visits each fall and spring and understand the struggles are coming to school on a daily basis. Because of the lack of money in the home, the families are not able to take their children to unique places and experiences. We strive to take them to places they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.
With this project, I hope to expose my students to new experiences.
I am hoping to get materials to expose my students to different types of animals and how they are different.
My students are lacking basic exposure to different types of animals and hands on science.
Their parents aren't able to take them places like the zoo or on trips because of lack of income. I am hoping that with these materials I will be able to expand their knowledge of animals from different habitats and have lessons on different areas of the world that these animals are found. The students will be able to use these animals with their pretend play.
