My students need the 2 sets of heat transfer tools, 1 (for 8 groups) of Thermal Radiation and 1 (for 15 groups) of Heat Transfer (conduction set) Kit, to better understand scientific concepts in the classroom.
I teach in a junior high school with students from different cultural and language backgrounds. My struggling students and English learners, as well as native English speakers, are often excited and eager to engage into scientific learning through collaborations and hands on investigations that involve inquiry. These types of activities help to engage every student in the classroom and provide a way for students to explore their thoughts.
My students are energetic and ready to explore the scientific world through hands on activities that will provide them with the tools to diminish their language barrier and better prepare them for high school.
Each student is eager to explore the world of science with lessons that involve labs/hands-on activities.
My Project
Hands-on activities provide not only students, but also teachers, with opportunities to enrich student minds in collaborative ways. The radiation transfer kit and the kit heat transfer (conduction) will grant students the opportunity to visualize the motion/transfer of heat from one medium to another, and thus to understand how energy moves from one source to another.
By donating to this project, you will become a valuable asset to a group of young explorers.
You will increase their curiosity about the scientific world inside and outside of the classroom.
These tools will be used while the students conduct laboratory investigations to help them better understand the concept of thermal energy being transferred.
