My students need a set of hands on engaging games to get them excited while learning about measurement, time, geometry, money, fractions, decimals and place value.

My Students

Practice makes perfect but how can students practice math skills in a fun way? They can review and sharpen skills by playing with hands-on games and manipulatives. They can partner up and support each other while playing math games. This is the time of the year to review what has been taught!

My students are eager to learn and support each other in learning math skills.

They are a very diverse group of students who love finding things they have in common instead of differences. They enjoy setting goals and working together to reach the goals. They are serious students who are supported by families who tell them why school is important.

My Project

These hands-on games have clear three step directions for all of the third grade math standards. During game time, in addition to learning math skills, the students will learn how to organize and play a game, take turns, be patient, and be teachers as well as learners. When students support each other in a fun and engaging manner they can all reach their goals!

Can you imagine a group of students who are eager to play math games to review their skills?

You can make this happen when you support our project. The set of board games will be such a fun way for students to challenge as well as support each other. Here is one time when everyone wins!
