My students need Math Center manipulatives to help them work with daily, including magnetic money, pattern blocks, and base-10 sets as well as magnetic boards.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
With spring on its way, we are always ready to grow and blossom in our learning. We are busy as bees and shine bright as the sunshine daily!
Our math classes are filled this spring with a diverse group of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds that are eager to learn and grow!
We work using centers on our rigorous math curriculum. We use our Math Centers daily and dive deep into our mathematical world through rich real life experiences that are hands-on.
My Project
Math Center manipulatives will help many types of learners. They will make a huge difference in a daily center rotation for my visual learners and my busy kinesthetic learners, and they will challenge students that need enrichment .
This project will afford the students 30 minutes daily an opportunity to work hands-on to create and solve math problems in a fun and exciting way.
They will be happy to explore and discover during center time through the use of these centers. The centers include magnetic boards, write & wipe boards, and various materials like magnetic money, pattern blocks, and base-10 sets that are matched to each of our math units.
