My Project

My students will come to math class with different strengths, different challenges, and one thing in common. They all deserve the opportunity to feel successful. I love watching a student's confidence grow when a concept finally clicks. Whether they're celebrating solving a difficult problem, encouraging a classmate, or proudly explaining their thinking, those moments are why I teach.

My classroom will be built around small group math rotations so I can provide targeted instruction while students work independently and collaboratively.

Hands-on learning is essential because students learn best by seeing, touching, building, and exploring mathematical concepts rather than simply completing worksheets.

This project will provide manipulatives, math games, and interactive notebook supplies that will transform our daily rotations.

Math manipulatives will help students visualize concepts like place value, fractions, multiplication, and geometry, making these ideas easier to understand.

Math games will give students meaningful opportunities to practice important skills while staying engaged. Games encourage teamwork, strategic thinking, and repeated practice in a way that feels fun instead of repetitive.

Interactive notebook supplies will allow students to create personalized math references they can use throughout the year. These notebooks help organize learning, encourage critical thinking, and give students a resource they can revisit whenever they need support.

Every item in this project will be used multiple times a week during our math rotations, helping students build confidence, strengthen problem solving skills, and develop a positive attitude toward mathematics. Your generosity will help create a classroom where every child has the tools they need to participate, learn, and believe in their ability to succeed.
