Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is full of 85 fifth grade students throughout the day. I teach fifth-grade mathematics to all fifth graders who attend my school. My students love to learn and become very motivated with hands-on learning. My students come from a low-income, rural community, yet they continue to strive for improvement. Our school has a high migrant population and all of our students receive free lunch.

My classroom is full of eager learners who find value in learning.

They face daily life challenges at home, so I want to provide the best possible learning experience for them here at school! They come to school happy and ready to learn each and every day.

My Project

I am requesting a ETA Math Fluency Kit to help students build and improve their math fluency as well as their math skills. This kit will be used during a small group. Every student is different and has a different learning style. This kit comes with hands-on manipulatives for students to learn and practice math fluency. The math fluency kits will be great to use during our math workshop with small groups.

Math fluency is a must for students to be successful in math and science.
