Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how eager my students are to learn and how proud they feel when they accomplish something new. As EC kindergarteners, they work incredibly hard and thrive with hands-on, engaging activities that meet their unique learning needs.

The math resources in this project will give my students opportunities to explore numbers through touch, movement, and play.

Manipulatives, tactile numbers, and interactive tools will help them build skills like counting, number recognition, and one-to-one correspondence in ways that feel accessible and fun. These materials will not only strengthen foundational math skills but also build confidence, independence, and a love for learning that will carry with them beyond our classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
