My Project

My K–2 students are eager, curious learners who are building the foundational skills that will shape their future success in reading. Many of them are developing their phonics skills, learning how letters and sounds work together to form words, but they need additional support and engaging, hands-on opportunities to truly thrive.

This project will provide high-quality phonics games and decodable books that make learning interactive, meaningful, and fun.

These resources will be used during small group instruction, allowing me to target each student’s individual needs and give them the focused attention they deserve. Through play-based learning and structured reading practice, students will strengthen their decoding, fluency, and confidence.

Phonics games help transform learning into an exciting experience, encouraging students to practice essential skills without frustration or fear of failure. Decodable books, aligned with phonics patterns, give students the chance to apply what they’ve learned and experience the joy of successful reading.

With your support, my students will gain the tools they need to become confident, capable readers. Strong literacy skills at an early age opens the door to all future learning and together, we can help set them on a path for lifelong success.
