Hands On Learning with Extension Projects

Help me give my students a stocked craft cart! My students love hands-on activities to extend their learning and apply what they are learning in sciences and social studies. We also do projects for reading and math.

My Project

These items will restock our craft cart that we use on a weekly basis. Students extend their learning with hands on craft project to make projects that demonstration science and social studies concepts we have learned for the week. This year my students have made insects, projectors for the solar eclipse, created characters from books and each student completed a literacy fair project. We go through a lot of glue, construction paper and other crafting supplies!

Your donation will help us start next year fully stocked to create things from our new knowledge.

The kids love taking their projects home and telling their families all about what they are learning in class.

My students have varying special needs and many struggle with language and communication. They may not be able to articulate their learning with their verbal words but can use art and crafting to show what they've learned.
