My Project

As a new special education teacher, I’m eager to give my students every possible opportunity to grow and succeed. My students are bright, curious, and full of potential! They bring unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of learning into our classroom. Their determination, creativity, and joy make every day an adventure. I love seeing the moment when a new concept “clicks,” especially when they get to learn in ways that are hands-on and exciting.

My goal for this project is to provide a variety of reading and math manipulatives that make learning active, engaging, and accessible for every student.

These spot markers, color tiles, magnetic letters, and other tools will help teach and reinforce essential reading and math skills, giving my students meaningful opportunities to revisit concepts and practice in new, engaging ways. By experiencing a skill in a fresh setting—through a game, puzzle, or tactile activity—students can strengthen their understanding and make deeper connections to what they’ve learned.

These tools will let me tailor instruction to each student’s needs—whether they need extra support or an added challenge—while keeping learning active, engaging, and fun. With your support, my students will reinforce important skills and build the confidence and curiosity to keep learning every day.
