My Students

My students are excited and enthusiastic about learning to read and write new words. We are learning new words daily and we could really use magnetic letters to help solidify our new learning.

My students attend a public school in Georgia.

The students in my class make up a diverse group. We come from all walks of life! That's what makes us great! The kids are excited about learning and love to use manipulative to learn. We use hands-on math manipulatives, but we do not have as many opportunities or materials to make reading and writing hands-on.

My Project

We would use the magnetic letters on a daily basis. I would use them to build words and teach letter names and sounds during whole group, small group and even one-on-one lessons. They can be used during our entire literacy block. The possibilities are endless!

These letters will help build on the foundation of literacy skills for students of all abilities.

They will give my students an opportunity to manipulate and learn more about words. Words will begin to come off the pages and come to life for my students!
