This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited for my Bilingual Transitional Kindergarten, TK, class and the excitement they have for learning. This will be my first year in TK and the first year we have ever had a bilingual TK in my district! I look forward to creating centers that engage and excite them everyday! We focus on play based learning and these materials will help support that.

Bilingual play based materials will help increase engagement, confidence and fun!

Play based learning is an age appropriate way to help early bilinguals build their vocabulary and foundations in both languages! By introducing the Spanish Alphabet Teaching tubs in centers, every child will be able to build their knowledge in small setting and the rack will help us care for them.
