My Students
My students are creative, fun, and love to learn! They are so special because they are curious about people, places, things, and have a determination to learn about as much as they can. Early literacy levels are constantly being observed and monitored so I, as a teacher, am constantly stressing the importance of literacy.
Reading and listening to stories are a passion of my students, and I am so proud to be their teacher and to encourage their love of reading.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to take charge of their own learning and be able to participate hands-on! They will be able to manipulate clay, sort colors with tweezers, and answer daily questions in the pocket charts. I will allow my students to use these items during small group activities, one-on-one lessons, and even individually during center time. They will be able to take charge with their own learning and choose which item they would like to use. I will also use these items to target certain skills that students still need to practice and master.
