My Project

My kindergarten students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences. Every day, they are building the foundational literacy and math skills that will support them throughout their educational journey. As a first-year kindergarten teacher, I am excited to create a classroom where students feel confident exploring, problem-solving, and learning through play. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and learning experiences, and each child brings unique strengths, interests, and perspectives to our classroom community.

I want my students to have access to engaging, hands-on materials that make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun.

The resources in this project will help me create literacy and math centers where students can actively practice important skills while building independence. Alphabet Learning Locks and the magnetic letter board will support letter recognition, phonics, and early reading development. Numberblocks figures, chain link manipulatives, and the cash register will help students strengthen number sense, counting, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking through play-based learning. The storage containers and drawer units will keep materials organized and accessible so students can successfully use centers independently. My goal is to provide students with engaging learning opportunities that build confidence, encourage exploration, and establish a strong foundation for future success.
