Hands on Learning Experiences Create Neurological Pathways for Future Success

Help me give my students outdoor learning experiences that will create language opportunities. The interactions that students engage in while using the ball cart and art easel will increase their neurological pathways, creating future success.

My Project

Our students are very diverse and many students are English Language Learners. Our student population allows us the opportunity to work with students who speak other languages. Our Pre-K program at Mt. View currently has 8 different languages represented. This diversity is unique and our students learn best when provided hands on learning experiences.

The hands on learning experiences will be enhanced by the materials selected in our project.

The art easel and ball cart will be used daily on our playground to allow students to interact and practice using their new English language skills. Students with teacher support and modeling will use the materials to interact with their peers in games and in art projects. These hands on learning experiences with English language building as a focus will create neurological pathways for future success.
