Help me give my students a variety of new learning materials like a sharpener and whiteboards for opportunities that will continue to make the classroom a fun and engaging place to learn and play.
Kindergarten students learn best when they are active and engaged...when they have tools in their hands...when they can experiment and manipulate things. The more senses a child can engage while they are learning, the better able they are to retain information. So let’s get our hands dirty and learn. Sensory tools can be used in multiple ways during station time and independent time. White boards and clip boards allow us to not be glued in our seats but up and moving while "learning on the go." The materials in this grant are such that they can be used and reused over and over again so that they can benefit students for years to come.
