The manipulatives that I have chosen for this project have many pieces and offer a variety of ways for the children to build and create all while remaining socially distant. The great thing about these small building toys is that children will be building and strengthening their fine motor skills while using them. There are waffle, magnetic and bristle blocks. As we all know, with COVID-19, nothing is "normal" about going back to school this year. The children can pick a bin of toys to keep at their desk at the beginning of the week to use. The bins will allow the children's materials to remain separate from one another. The laundry bags will allow for easy cleaning of toys at the end of each week. I have chosen enough of a variety that children will be able to choose a new activity each week.
