Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to provide supplemental materials through Teachers Pay Teachers (which is a hub for educators to purchase materials from other educators to provide additional support or enrichment for students). Thus far I have purchased products in the core subjects of reading and math.\r\n\r\nIn reading, students have participated in both enriching and reteaching activities, as well as supplemental activities that allow for an extension of teaching opportunities. Students have work on main idea, through spooky themed short reading. They have also worked on analyzing various forms of story telling through media with a literary lenses, such as Disney's Coco with purchased worksheets off the TPT platform. This has allowed for enriching opportunities as well, offering challenging task such as analyzing through the Hero's Journey- a state standard for much older grades.\r\n\r\nIn mathematics, I was able to purchase additional testing materials for the envision curriculum to act as a pre-test, allowing students who already know the content that will be taught in the future the opportunity to omit some lessons and be provided with more complex thinking math tasks that are still focused on the standard being taught. Logic puzzles, math crafts and more are just some of the ways this opportunity has provided for my students allowing them to excel and grow beyond the required task, essentially removing the ceiling to their learning.\r\n\r\nAgain thank you so much for your assistance, it has already gone far with these kiddos.","fullyFundedDate":1755698095123,"projectUrl":"project/fast-finisher-materials/9615391/","projectTitle":"Fast Finisher Materials","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. K.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5574113_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1535129992812","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/michelle-kronander"},{"teacherId":7330726,"projectId":9433783,"letterContent":"New classroom materials that I was able to purchase on TPT designed around the science of reading have significantly enhanced literacy outcomes for my kindergarten students already - in such a short time. These resources emphasize phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, and reading fluency. With structured, explicit instruction and decodable texts, young learners are better equipped to connect sounds to letters and build foundational reading skills. These materials help students progress more confidently and consistently, especially those who may have previously struggled with early literacy. The integration of multisensory tools—like sound mats, letter tiles, and interactive read-alouds—also supports diverse learning styles and keeps engagement high.\r\n\r\nIn tandem, new materials focused on social-emotional learning (SEL) have created a more nurturing and emotionally intelligent classroom environment. Express your feeling bottles and movement activities help children recognize and manage their feelings, build positive relationships, and develop resilience. These SEL tools are often embedded into daily routines, allowing students to practice self-regulation and conflict resolution in real time. The improvements in classroom behavior, peer interactions, and overall emotional well-being is so nice to see. When combined with literacy instruction, SEL materials foster a holistic approach to development—supporting not just what children learn, but how they feel while learning.","fullyFundedDate":1754941445491,"projectUrl":"project/science-of-reading-and-social-emotional/9433783/","projectTitle":"Science of Reading and Social Emotional Learning Fun for Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cuttell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7330726"},{"teacherId":4948081,"projectId":9402764,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous book donations!
