This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students learn through play! I have always been a huge advocate for play in the classroom especially for 5 and 6 year olds! We have a monthly dramatic play in which I change the theme to match the month or the season. The kids love exploring in that area and really using their imaginations! I believe that play can better a child's understanding of the topic more and open their minds! My student's love learning through play and I know they would enjoy these different themes throughout the year.
