Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom uses themes that are geared toward the students' interests and seasonal learning opportunities. These activities include read alouds with matching themed activities such as literacy, math, sensory bins, social-emotional, science, social studies and art activities. These themed materials will help build interest for our students' learning goals.

When using theme-based learning it allows you to create memorable, interactive lessons.

These lessons benefit students' individual learning styles, teach students about the world around them, expand their language and social skills, and increase their knowledge about science and additional concepts.
