My Project

We are living in a world where STEM is critical! Hands-on learning experiences for these students will help to make them most successful in their futures. Building models are of utmost importance as we face a world full of technology, coding, and problem solving. I want my kids to be excited about construction and the areas that their lives can be enriched through hypothesizing and carrying out their inventions and ideas.

I love my students, and there is no doubt that they are facing difficult situations in and out of school.

I want to show them that hard work and problem solving can guide a path for their futures. By having the Activity Cart, markers, colored pencils, and building supplies on hand within our classroom, we are able to use them daily and examine different solutions to various problems. They will be able to use the materials to construct models and critically think about problem solving. The supplies will be used to stimulate our Makerspace rotations in the classroom through planning, building, designing, and, finally, constructing their ideas.

I think that making learning fun is important. I want students to feel loved, valued, and worthy. I want them to know that I believe in them and to know that, even when things are hard, they can do hard things. By having these resources and helping to teach them in the classroom about perseverance, my students will become the best versions of themselves, giving back to their communities.
