This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My school is considered a Title 1 school, which means many of my students are classified as being in poverty. Despite this, my students and their parents are very supportive and want the best for their children. My job is to bridge the gap between the label of poverty and the endless opportunities of academic success.
We use technology throughout our day and in numerous subject areas.
My students enjoy hands-on learning, and this learning tool has become their new favorite center. Seeing them light up with joy and begin to help one another was great to see. I want to give them many opportunities play and learn with each other while also having fun. Every year I want to support my students in the best way possible, and this year OSMO would be a great help. I want them to have the best and this is it!
My students are part of the technology boom. I want to encourage and support learning using tools that will keep them interested and engaged. I have purchased other games from OSMO and my students love them!
Having additional games will allow more students to practice fine motor skills, problem solving, and build peer relationships.
They really enjoy OSMO and the variety of games.
This specific game will assist my students in learning letters, letter and word associations, creativity, and attention to detail. Through your support my students will learn to have fun and love learning using technology in the classroom.
