The first reason why I love directed drawings, is because these are not your cut and paste art projects that you see coming from Kindergarten classrooms. This is real art. They are unique masterpieces and that's why the kids and I love them so much! The second reason I love directed drawings so much is because it raises their confidence as artists. Directed drawings are a great practice exercise for listening and following directions. This is also a fun way to practice fine motor skills. I want to expand my teaching in art more and this will help so much!
