My Project
My fashion, merchandising and retail students are seeking to add a new component to our student-based enterprise, Razorback Treasures where our students will create, market, and sell their own greeting cards. This project aims to provide our students with valuable entrepreneurial skills while fostering their creativity and business knowledge.
By participating in this project, our students will learn the entire process of creating and marketing greeting cards.
They will develop their artistic skills by designing unique and eye-catching card designs, explore different printing techniques, and gain hands-on experience in production and product development. Students will employ techniques to sell goods to customers. Students will coordinate activities in the promotional mix to help generate sales from peers and parents. Students will identify product opportunities and utilize pricing strategies by planning to maximize returns and meet customers’ perception of value.
Through this project, our students will not only enhance their artistic abilities but also develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and financial literacy. By running their own student-based enterprise, they will gain real-world experience, a sense of ownership and responsibility.
We are seeking your generous support and need the following items: art supplies to create and design the best cards like paints and glitter, and printing equipment to digitize our designs and print the best quality prints like paper, blank greeting cards and envelopes, marketing materials to promote our store and sales throughout the school, and other necessary resources. Greeting card displays are requested to help organize school events where students can showcase to the community.
