Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school has 527 students and is a Title I school!
My little ones are full of energy and are ready to learn!
My students are always eager to want to know and learn more! They ask many questions, they talk a lot, they are curious, and so much more! We are discovering, learning manners, social skills, academics, and tons more!
Most of our students are English Language Learners, and the majority of our students qualify for the free/reduced-price lunch program.
My Project
In first grade math, we cover counting, number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, measurement, data, problem-solving, and geometry!
The VersaTiles are an alternative to traditional skills practice that creates a safe learning environment that increases student confidence and low-prep classroom solution!
This math classroom kit is hands-on learning that will assist my students in discovering, diving into a deeper understanding and helping them use their full potential in math concepts!
I would like to obtain this kit to be able to have different options for my students to make sure they understand different concepts and to be able to meet all of my students' needs!
