Hand Bells To Help Us Play Together As One

Help me give my students hand bells to give a sense of community as we play together. The soft, peaceful notes of tongue drums create soothing melodies that can be enjoyed by all and soothe.

My Students

The students in my classroom are a beautifully diverse combination of experiences. Together, we form the community that is our school. I teach music once a week to every student in the school K-6. My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative. They are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. Last year we focused on rhythm My students excelled.

Students in my music room are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative.

They absolutely love playing instruments. We have come a long way rhythmically in just the past year. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically. My students are fearless.

I teach in a small community with strong roots and a strong heart. The kids are resilient and in need of opportunities to explore, grow, and learn. My kindergarten through sixth grade students have been enduring the recent challenges due to the world-wide pandemic, Covid-19. Because of this challenge, we need access to hope.

I incorporate a variety of learning strategies and options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are. We celebrate little wins together each day.

My Project

Help me give my students the gift of music with hand bells and steel tongue drums we can play together as one. Studies have proven that playing music together creates unity. Their hearts beat in a matching rhythm.

It will build their sense of community, self esteem and inclusion.

They will depend on each other and cultivate their love for music by playing these instruments. This project will allow ALL of my students to each have an instrument when coming to my music class. They will improvise and compose the beginnings of their own melodies. Your donation will allow them to continue on their journey to improving their music skills.
