Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my Physical Education students become Gym Class Heroes with new obstacle course equipment and a class parachute! These activities will focus on teamwork and cooperative play and will be used with K-4th grade students every week!

Students will get their bodies moving and their hearts racing while working toward accomplishing shared goals with their classmates.

My students love coming to PE class and are extremely hardworking. They are so active and engaged and love facing the challenges I set for them. The balls, parachutes, tunnels, pool noodles and agility hurdles we are requesting will provide new opportunities for them to explore what they are capable of!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
