My Project
For the first time we are offering Yoga as a physical education elective class! Acquiring yoga mats for this class would significantly enhance its success by providing students with a dedicated space for physical and mental well-being. Yoga mats will offer a comfortable and supportive surface for practice, encouraging our students to engage in regular yoga sessions which helps promote flexibility, strength, and stress relief. This in turn will create an inviting atmosphere for especially for beginners, foster a positive environment that enhances participation and commitment. Additionally, the presence of quality mats can help in creating a structured and consistent practice routine, ensuring that the program becomes an integral part of the school's wellness initiatives and supports students in achieving a balanced and a healthy lifestyle.
Students travel from all over the City of Philadelphia to come for their high school education, where there are approximately 2000 students enrolled.
We are a low-socioeconomic, Title I school and we represent students from over 58 countries from around the world.
