Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class full of curious students who are eager to learn and love to be involved with their learning. They enjoy getting out of their seats to move around during a lesson. They have a strong sense of community and are very kind and caring toward one another. They believe in having a growth mindset and have a positive attitude toward their learning and know that never giving up on a hard task makes their brain smarter. Although my students struggle with reading, they always try their best and never give up.

My Project

I am requesting leveled guided reading books to help my struggling readers level up! These books are just the right fit for my students to practice their reading skills and become better readers. The goal of guided reading is to help students build their skills to pass each level.

The magnetic letters and word building tiles will help my students who are far below level build their literacy skills in order to start reading.

Reading is a powerful tool and opens up an entire world for students to learn. When students struggle to read, everything becomes hard and their access to the learning suffers. Help me build my readers up so they can soar to new heights!
