My second grade classroom is full of eager to learn students. Each child brings a unique personality to the table and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them.
My students are constantly growing in what we are learning in 2nd grade!
They come from such diverse backgrounds and I am hoping to provide equal opportunity for all of my students. Students are the future and I want to give them all equal opportunities to achieve their dreams and to be successful!
My Project
Guided reading is a crucial part of 2nd grade. Students are able to dive deeper into books to discover more than they thought imaginable! Our classroom does not currently have a space large enough for small groups to meet comfortably.
The kidney table and wobble chairs will provide the students with an appropriate place to participate in small guided reading groups.
Students will be able to come together comfortably with his or her group to have discussions and participate in activities about our weekly story.
This 2nd grade class would appreciate your help in creating our guided reading area! Each donation, no matter how large or small, will help our class tremendously!
