Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This project will benefit Second Grade students that are studious, good-hearted, and love being creative. I have an amazing group of 25 students from low-income households. Students are always interested in learning more. We are setting up a small library to complement learning.

My Project

The Collection of 20 Guided Reading Books will become part of the classroom library. They will help our Second Grade students improve their reading skills. The books are designed to build and strengthen students' literacy skills.

The teacher will work will groups of students encouraging them to apply the reading skills they’ve learned using the collection of guided reading books.

The guided reading books will develop their reading skills and increase comprehension. Students will be more interested in reading these books because they include interesting topics and they are designed specifically for second graders.
