Growing The Shelldon Shelves: Chapter Book Edition
Help me give my students chapter books that reflect different voices, adventures, and experiences—so every student can find a book that makes them feel seen, inspired, and excited to read when shopping The Shelldon Shelves.
Help me continue to give the gift of books through The Shelldon Shelves Project! This project will provide a more diverse selection of chapter books for students in grades 3–5 (approximately 350 students).
It's essential that students engage with books that interest them, inspire them, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.
By supporting this project, you’re helping young readers discover stories that reflect their lives, broaden their horizons, and keep them coming back for more.
My mission is to nurture a strong culture of literacy by providing students with the opportunity to experience the joy of discovering a great story. These positive reading experiences ignite a passion for books that extends far beyond the classroom and allows students to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build empathy, and better connect with the world around them.
