My students need 4 collections of fiction and nonfiction books at levels O and P so that they can have a large selection of books to read at their "just right" level.

My Students

My students are continually improving as readers, and I need books at their new levels to keep them challenged!

My students are an amazing, energetic group of second and third graders in an high needs urban public school in Washington.

They love school and are eager to learn, but many lack the resources and support at home that is so crucial to their success in school.

My Project

I need a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books for my classroom library. My students are continually growing as readers and need books at their new levels to keep them engaged and challenged. These books will serve as a great addition to my current library and will provide students with "just right" reading material at their new, higher levels.

This project is important because my students need books that will excite and challenge them!

I do not have books at the higher reading levels that many of my students are now at. Having more books will enable my students to continue to improve as readers. These books will help students build their vocabularies and practice complex comprehension strategies while enjoying a good story at the same time!
