My Project

Our class would like to implement a hands on opportunity for learning about the environment and plants. We want to provide each student their own planter with plants to care for and study. They would be able to take them home so that parents see what their children are working on and help them continue to learn.

Planting their own plants and watching them grow and flower is a great way for all our students to grow to in their knowledge of the environment and plants.

Being responsible for the plants will help engage them in the learning process. Worksheets will help them make a connection to the standards they are learning. This will be a wonderful learning opportunity.
