We are using the book of Life Skills lessons to learn about new life skills every week and the other resources to put these lessons into practice. \r\n The Colgate toothbrushes and toothpaste were used with a step by step guide in the workbook to teach student how to bush their teeth independently. Each student has their own cup with a personal Colgate toothbrush and toothpaste. I have students asking to brush their teeth after lunch. \r\nThe Palmolive dish soap and the dish towels were used in a lesson for washing dishes. Now we have a new center in our classroom called \"Wash Up,\" and the students are so excited when they get to do the dishes. We have made anchor charts for our classroom to show the difference between kind and unkind, practiced roll playing to learn how to use the skills we learned, and then practiced using kind words and actions in our classroom and around our school.
