Your generosity has allowed me to fill our treasure box with goodies that my students absolutely love. While these may seem like small rewards, they mean so much to my students. We use our treasure box to celebrate hard work, kindness, positive choices, academic growth, and those little victories that deserve recognition. Sometimes, it's a student finally mastering a skill they've struggled with, completing an assignment they once thought was too difficult, or simply having a great day after a challenging week. Being able to say, \"I'm so proud of you! Go pick something from the treasure box!\" makes those moments even sweeter.\r\n\r\nThe excitement on my students' faces when they saw all the new treasure box goodies was priceless! They were so eager to see what they could earn, and it has been such a joy watching them work toward their goals. One of my favorite things about our treasure box is that it gives every child a chance to feel successful. Not every student makes a perfect score or learns at the same pace, but every student deserves to feel proud of their progress. Your donations have helped me recognize the child who keeps trying, the student who goes out of their way to help a classmate, and the one who finally believes, \"I can do this!\" Those little moments of confidence and happiness are what make teaching so special.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, my students will keep working toward new reading and behavior goals, building independence, and learning the importance of perseverance and kindness. Thanks to you, I have another meaningful way to encourage them along the way. You didn't just help fill a treasure box with prizes...you helped fill our classroom with smiles, motivation, confidence, and moments that remind my students their hard work matters. The play rug has been a big hit. We have put it in our sensory corner and the children have enjoyed sitting and playing on it when they need a sensory break. It is so soft that many of the children love to lay on it and rub their hands over it. The play dough has also been a great addition to our room. We have made it part of our centers both for math and ELA. Using play dough letter stamps, our students have been able to use it to learn to spell their names. The dry erase markers and star erasers, the laminating sheets, and other supplies, have helped us start the year smoothly and helped the students get into their new routine. The fidget and sensory items have been wonderful for the students as to help them stay at their desk and focus their extra energy. We are using the book of Life Skills lessons to learn about new life skills every week and the other resources to put these lessons into practice. \r\n The Colgate toothbrushes and toothpaste were used with a step by step guide in the workbook to teach student how to bush their teeth independently. Each student has their own cup with a personal Colgate toothbrush and toothpaste. I have students asking to brush their teeth after lunch. \r\nThe Palmolive dish soap and the dish towels were used in a lesson for washing dishes. Now we have a new center in our classroom called \"Wash Up,\" and the students are so excited when they get to do the dishes.
