My Project

Each of my students brings enthusiasm, kindness, and determination to our classroom. They are a remarkable group of young people who learn best through hands-on experiences that build confidence and independence. Their positive attitudes and pride in helping others make our student-led coffee cart one of the most meaningful parts of our school week.

This project will give my students the tools they need to expand our school-based store and strengthen the real-world skills they practice every day.

With a nugget ice maker and coffee carafes, students will be able to safely prepare a wider variety of beverages, stay organized during busy service times, and offer customers a smoother, more enjoyable experience. The ice maker will help them efficiently serve iced drinks while practicing measurement, equipment use, and problem solving, and the carafes will support safe serving, cleanliness, and responsibility.

The goals of this project are to increase student independence, boost confidence, and create authentic opportunities for teamwork and communication. These tools will help improve our sales, make the coffee cart more fun and engaging, and give students meaningful experiences that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. What makes my students truly special is their determination, their support for one another, and the pride they take in running a service that benefits our entire school community.
