This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Gardening is a powerful learning tool for preschoolers. My students will enjoy learning and about plants. My students will enjoy these supplies to learn about plants. We can use the clear pots to see all the roots grow. When we plant vegetables and flowers we can compare the sizes.
Having books and plant life cycle figurines is a great way to show my students the steps and care for plants as they learn to grow their own.
If we have a garden in our classroom we can learn through play and learn to be patient.
